I don't know about you guys but I LOVE watching DIY fashion videos on how to recreate my old clothing. I mean come on, cut a few holes in your old grungy shirt, sew it up and 'VOILA' you have a new look. I find it super cool. Unfortunately, I also find it incredibly challenging. If you're like me, who isn't born with natural abilities to do arts and craft, this post is just for you!
Recently, I came across a whole series of DIY videos using scarves to spruce up your look and I was amazed at how easy it was to do. The best part about this is that you get to achieve different looks with just one piece of scarf. Talk about endless possibilities! I’m not going to lie, many of the styles were really complicated and I ended up looking really weird, but here are 4 pre-tested, legit easy ways to spruce up your outfit with scarves! Enjoy :)
#1. The Turban I love how this style is so versatile - you can look like a badass or a princess, depending on the type of scarf you use! If your scarf is thin, it can work as a hair band too! View the tutorial here.

And we have to show you Zendaya rocking the badass look with a thicker scarf using the same method!
#2. The Hair Bow
This is my favourite way to use the scarf to tame my unruly hair! And I think this is an extra cute way to amp up my outfit for a day out in the sun while keeping my hair in place.

#3. The Necklace
This one's my favourite! For someone who cannot leave the house without accessorising, this is my go-to way to change up my statement necklaces when I'm bored of them! Just grab your statement necklace, twist your scarf around it and you've got yourself a brand new scarf-statement necklace.

#4. The Vest
This is probably the easiest and most convenient way to style your scarf! All you need to do is tie a knot and you've got yourself a cool vest! Instead of lugging around your cardigan, you could wear this vest outdoors and wrap it around yourself when it's cold. Perfect for us living in Singapore, where the weather can be unpredictable, and really easy to do. ;)
